Well, today was the official last day of the Kentucky Airport Challenge. It was an almost perfect end to a fantastic adventure. It concluded with a fly-in at Tompkinsville airport with a dozen or so pilots who braved the iffy weather to have wonderful BBQ and good fellowship. It was also another exceptionally warm day with scattered showers in the vicinity.
There were many people/companies that sponsored the event. At about 1:30 the drawings began. We came home with a pretty good haul.
